Robert W. Rooks
Bob is Technical Director for the company, overseeing execution of all work to ensure technical accuracy and defensibility. He has a diverse engineering background spanning 26 years and maintains technical expertise in the areas of hazardous waste minimization and management; site assessment, remedial design, and risk-based closure; storage tanks; wastewater disposal; system operations; environmental construction; hazardous materials; and regulatory compliance. He has served as primary technical lead for multi-million dollar, multi-year environmental restoration programs for the US Navy and US Air Force, has operated his own consulting firm, and has led technical teams of engineers, geologists, chemists, and scientists supporting over $40M of environmental construction annually. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Duke University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, New York, Connecticut, Florida, Rhode Island, and Hawaii. He is ruthlessly focused on quality.
